The Forest is a first-person survival horror simulator develop by Endnight Games Ltd. The game takes place after a passenger jet crash and you appears to be the lone survivor. As you begin to search for clues, you discovers that you are not alone. The mysterious forest is inhabite by tribes of cannibalistic mutants. These artificial intelligent, non-playable character will react to you in two ways: they can eat you right away, or study your movements and eat you later on. Your only option is to explore the island and scavenges for resources. Along the way, you find that things are more terrifying than it seems.

Survival guide:

The game begins with you regaining consciousnes at the back of the airoplane. You can then begin looting the airoplane. The most important item is the ax as it allow you to break open cases and bags. It is also important to treat your wounds with bandages and medicine from the first aid kits. Before exiting the plane, you will need to see end of the forest. It should be close to some trees, but outside of dense, wooded areas.

This is a good place to build your first shelters. The shelters should have a hunting station, fire pit, and drying rack. These will help you cut up animals you have hunted and make them edible. You can also create a shelter near water so you will always have access to water for drinking and for cleansing your wounds. Once you have set up camp, you can continue to explore the forest to loot more items. The most important but also most difficult areas of the forest are caves.
